First time at EWU

Can anyone fill me in on the parking situation? Their website is somewhat confusing in regards to visitor parking.

It's all over the place, literally. They have a few lots peppered throughout campus, along with a large near their stadium. There's also street parking not far from the field.

It's sort of a show up and see what's available sort of situation.

Better yet, sign up for the Alumni Tailgate at MSUAF.ORG

Did this but doesn't look like we can actually park in that lot? Their website is pretty confusing.

The last two times we parked in P3, South of the stadium. It's a little bit of a hike but might be the closest you can get that isn't reserved. If you're going to the tailgate you should get there early enough to get a spot in there.

Yeah I checked and those lots close the the stadium are all reserved for tailgates of RV.

Have a $10 bill handy. At least that is what it was last time we were there in some random parking lot on campus. If you get there really early, there appeared to be a lot of free on-street parking on the highway leading up to the stadium-if you don't mind walking a few blocks.

If you're in CDA, you gotta eat at Moontime. Great restaurant. Right of I-90, Sherman ave i believe. Bag of Dicks in Spokane if you've had too many beers.

As others have said, your best bet is to arrive early and just find parking where you can. There's street parking available north of the stadium but it will be a very long walk if you aren't early enough to get a spot relatively close. There are also various lots near the stadium where you can pay for parking, which is what we've done the last couple times.

Is it expected that they might open SRO seating at some point? Only booster side seeds left at $100 each! WHAT???

Seriously though - if we end up buying a few of those, is it likely we can squish in with the Cat fans? Or do they enforce the individual seat assignments?

Thanks for the help! Go Cats!

CdA has lots of good eateries but Moontime is a good spot. Always had a good bite there.

Four of us purchased on the booster side, so I suspect Cat fans will be scattered about the stadium as ewooo games are not well attended by their own fans, so if it sells out; it's due to the visiting team - usually when the Cats or griz visit, and likely Idaho. Eastern certainly does like to raise their prices when we visit, that's for sure.

The visitors usually get stuck in the crappy, aluminum bleachers on the other side of the stadium, so you can squish in, but it's tight.

My first time at EWoo as well. As I was doing parking research etc... I started looking for gates into the stadium. Is the only entrance on the west side of the stadium?

Well I can't make this one, but have some friends that will be there. I strongly encourage all the Cat fans to group together regardless of where their seats are at!!

Great time to be a BOBCAT!
