I think Colter and Ty Gregorak had the right take on Vigen during their interview earlier in the week. We'd be naive to think that Vigen will stay at MSU for the rest of his career if he keeps winning at the rate he has been so far, but at the same time he's only going to leave when the timing is right and for the right job as opposed to taking the first offer that comes along like Eck did bolting to New Mexico virtually before the game was over last Friday. Regardless of how this season turns out he has certainly earned a raise if MSU would be able to renegotiate his contract two years into the current 4-year deal he signed before the 2023 season. I haven't heard Ty and Colter's deal yet but was going to listen today. But yes, Vigen seems fairly calculated and committed to building something of value. It's been a 4 year process but I'm not sure he's quite done yet. The offers will roll in, no doubt, but he's not a ship jumper.
