I'm sure this was discussed somewhere in another thread, but I haven't been on here much since the game... what was up with that?

The UM and NDSU fans think the trash can tip is a big deal.

Hilarious. I wish there was a good gif of it.

I have no doubt they would, especially um fans. Outrage over nothing is the way America works now.

If it got eGriz' panties in a twist, all I'll say is that I wish Tommy had gone further and hurled the garbage can into the stands.

Should he have done it? Na, probably not.

Is it a big deal? Not in the slightest.

People are overreacting to this in a big way. Not necessarily on here but the little I saw on FB and insta was comical.

Well, if you're a dUMb fan, what else do you have to talk about? Your team hasn't played a game in a hot minute...

I thought it was great. Literally the “meanest” thing he has done his entire life.

It’s just people trying to find anyway to diminish this guys character. If that’s the worst thing you can find about Tommy to bash his character, then people are setting the bar to some unrealistic level. It’s easy to lose character out of frustration but look how he’s carried himself in victories and that tells it all.

I’ll bet if Cam Miller did it, there would be people here talking about how classless it was, and how Tommy would never do that.

Only if he did it at a player or staff member. There was no one in the line of fire. I would've laughed if Cam did the same thing.

Guys do things like slam their helmets or tip over benches in frustration all the time. It's not like the time that DB lowered his shoulder into Tacos helmet & didnt draw a flag.

Tommy did a really kinda funny minor little thing out of frustration. Whatever.

I never said I thought it was a big deal. I don’t care about it at all.

I'm in the same boat, don't care. I just asked the question to if there was any back story to it, i.e. something one of the players said to him when he ran that far out of bounds. Was just out of character for him is why I asked.

I thought it was pretty funny. But it was definitely out of character for Tommy. And with how much attention it's received on social media, I bet he regrets doing it now.

I saw it and didn’t think it was a very big deal. You can’t take the Butte out of the boy after all. But I will say, with 100% certainty, if this was Robby Hauck who did this same thing you guys would lose your gosh damn collective minds over it and there would be a 15 page thread on it.
