Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

It seems crazy to say this only a few years removed from Troy Andersen roaming the field but Tommy is the best to ever rep the Blue and Gold. I will miss him.

I wasn’t able to attend all the games Tommy played in but most. On three different occasions I witnessed the stadium break into a repeated “Tommy, Tommy” chant. Never saw/heard that with any other Cat player over the years. He was special.

Wow! What an incredible young man. I've been trying for a while to put together words to express my gratitude for Tommy and the Mellott family, but nothing I write can accurately describe how truly blessed Montana State was to be represented by the Mellott family. Thank you to Tommy, his parents, and siblings for sharing Tommy with Bobcat Nation. I doubt I'll be around in 20+ years, but if I am, maybe I'll just be lucky enough to see another Mellott suiting up for my beloved Bobcats. #GoCatsGo

20 years back the home crowd would sing the European "Ole" chant and say "Lulay lulay lulay" on occasion, but that is the only other one I ever heard.
Rare company for Tommy, who ended up as the GOAT in my opinion. I hope we se someone step into those shoes again someday sooner than 10 - 20 years out.

The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
missoula....still just 20 miles from Montana.

Excellent video, excellent young man. He will be so missed, but what a mark he's left on the program.

It's a nice good-bye video. For his MSU playing career, that is. I think he knows the impact he had and wanted to close the door on that chapter of his career. He's turning over the keys to the next star(s) of future teams.

I really see Taco, Kenny IV, Davis, Crews, Parsons, JT Reed, Black, Fleischmann, Brott, Caden, Jones, and Eckert as the core group from where the top leaders will emerge. There will likely be some guys that burst onto the scene next year and take over roles like that.

I had forgotten about that. Travis deserved it as much as Tommy did.

I hate I was cutting onions when I was watching this video. Eyes teared up a little.

Rest In peace dad.
