Video of Tommy put together by his agent that he sent to each team. I saw the text response from the Raiders Special Teams coach: " he will be gone by the 5th round". At least 5 teams sending a representative to the Bobcat Pro day to scout him.

QB/WR/RB/RT
Quarter Back ok / Wide Receiver yes / Running Back that works / Right Tackle I don't know about that

Awesome video. Go get yours Tommy!
I am not sure what RT means. I had to ask what FBI stood for: Football Intelligence. I have to learn even more acronyms.
Short for RTD? Nope, that was someone else.
Yeah Tommy has always been dominant so there's nothing to return to.
Maybe when talking about Tommy it's Really Tough Dude.
RT made me think Return Team, when I wasn't joking around.

Must be for returns? Interesting there were not any passing Highlights
I found that interesting too. Though, his strength is certainly a a runner, so I guess focusing on his speed and shiftiness is a good thing.
Is it possible he could be a Christian McCaffrey type running back?
Interesting scouting report on Tommy for QB at the NFL level.
I am much more ignorant than some on this board, but the basics here mostly pass the "smell test" even if I think the writer perhaps underestimates Tommy's athleticism.

And the fact he is likely not being taken as a qb
My thoughts too. Not that he couldn't be used as qb under special circumstances, but in that video he's not selling himself that way. I'm hoping scouts are paying attention to his other strengths that could translate to a running back, kick returner, etc.

I am a little surprised that they do not seem to be selling him at all as a QB. He's not an NFL QB1 to be sure but he does have skills in that area (31 TDs, 2INT last year and nice touch on his deep throws. I could see him having a shot as a developmental QB.
By taking QB seemingly off the table, I think he's also resigning himself to being a UDFA. If he can run in the 4.3s or low 4.4s and put up other good testing numbers, I think he'll have an excellent shot to be on a practice squad next year-- or maybe even an active roster But I think he might have had his highest draft value as a QB3 type with the athleticism to move elsewhere if a team didn't like what they saw with him under center.

Tommy is poised to be a special teams ace, ala Colt Anderson. But with a bigger upside than Colt did due to the offensive weapons Mellott has.

Tommy's path to getting drafted will lead through Pro Day and putting up good enough numbers there that at least one team isn't willing to let him get to the UDFA pool. I don't see the position really making too much of a difference there, as nobody will draft him with the primary intention of making him a QB.

I'm still sticking with my prediction he'll end up working his way into either a starting WR or RB role some day, I'd lean towards a Christian McCaffrey type player.
