New Premium Endzone Seating
Montana State is expanding seating in the north endzone. 206 added seats and it looks like they are redoing the cabanas.

Re: New Premium Endzone Seating
This is similar to the setup at Eastern Washington (I believe it was the East end zone), I remember thinking last year when we were out there that it was kind of unique and a great way to add to capacity needs as well as the game day experience for fans. These will generate some nice extra $, I’m a fan…

That rendering makes it look like the new cabanas are in the actual end zone.
Nice moneymaker though, but it looks like the any end zone expansion is still many years away.

Oh my God, the goalposts are getting even shorter. What an embarrassment.

It doesn't appear to be a donation, at least the article doesn't mention one. Looks pretty good though and will generate some nice revenue.

I wouldn't look too deeply into any part of the rendering that isn't about the new additions. Somebody from a design firm won't care in the slightest if the goalposts look 100% correct as long as you can tell what they are on the rendering

Okay.
*My comment is part of an ongoing joke about a past complaint on BN that the goal posts were too short.

Those are some expensive seats. Be curious to see if all of them sell out.

Not really. It says sideline with club access are over 1800. Cost includes the Bobcat club donation as well as club access looks like can sit in bleachers above, be inside on ground level or hang out infront.

Yeah that $1,800 is BS. I sit in section 104 on the 47 yard line. Tickets are 750 per seat. Add 350 more for club access. That's $1,100 per seat. The $1,800 might be for the indoor seats up in the club. Basically section 104 indoors.

Re: New Premium Endzone Seating
From the article it sounds like the 206 seats above are separate from the club level below? If not, it doesn’t make much sense to give field level folks the seats that could be filled by others thus increasing capacity and environment on that end of the field, in my opinion. Great idea, I just wish the bleachers up above would have extended across the whole end zone instead of random small sections…

Re: New Premium Endzone Seating
I took it that way as well, that the additional 206 seats are separate from the club level and that alcohol consumption would be permitted there as well. This in time could eventually be replaced by something more permanent. Looks better than what was there and from what I’ve seen, the end result always looks better than the renderings.MTmadeCat wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 5:48 pmFrom the article it sounds like the 206 seats above are separate from the club level below? What? The last year I was in 104 (2012) the xost was $2600 for 2 seats. Do you have one seat?PHAT CAT wrote: ↑Fri Mar 21, 2025 5:37 pmYeah that $1,800 is BS. I sit in section 104 on the 47 yard line. Re: New Premium Endzone Seating
I’m into it. I imagine if the NEZ ever gets a permanent fixture, it will look similar (and smaller) to what Washington, Vanderbilt and a few other schools have going on with their field level clubs. After they built the new football facilities as close to the field as they did, they really didn’t have a lot of options for building up the NEZ into anything very spectacular as far as capacity goes. I think they should put some money towards the grassy knoll and build that up for the SRO fans. Would be a relatively cheap option to get even more fans in that area.
