At the time of his commitment to Michigan last spring his final short list of programs included Texas Tech, Georgia and Notre Dame. He also took unofficial visits to Texas A&M, Tennessee, Oklahoma State and Nebraska.

I'm sure at least a couple of those programs will make room for him.

We can turn him into Travis Hunter lite. An elite TE on Offense, and a freaky athletic DE on 3rd and long blitz packages for the Defense... Man we are just dreaming at this point

He's going to Georgia, Texas Tech, or Notre Dame, or some other power and probably starting a bidding war in the process. Does anyone know how much he was offered by Michigan? Or was he not getting an NIL and just a scholarship? Seems like he is one of the best recruits out of MT in quite a while, on the upper tier of 4 star.

I like that destination for sure. That Kenyon Sadiq kid they have this year is a freak. I didn't know that he was from Idaho of all places until I saw something on him today. The Northwest has been putting a lot of good talent out lately

The Bobcats actually offered Sadiq before he committed to Oregon.

Would be surprised if he went anywhere but Texas Tech. Heard they are offering high 6 or low 7 figures.

Good for Moose if that’s true but that’s a crazy number for a guy who will likely play limited games and then redshirt next season.

Have been hearing rumors that MSU Northern is in the process of raising $5.5 million and Moose could be signing with them by Monday.

There has to be a tipping point coming soon. That’s a higher team salary than the NFL has per team and for what? To maybe win some football games. No wonder Notre Dame is mad. I’d love to know how much they paid their roster to be sitting home in December. It’s hilarious to me. I’m good with where UM and MSU are at with our football programs and level and play.

It's essentially an endowment, so $300 million could conservatively earn $15 to $25 million per year. Plus, the present value of a $3 million contract to play would be substantially less. Also, there are non-cash items of value in the contract, like free use of a car and other things like that. You may be right, but I think the number Colter quoted is most definitely within the realm of possibility for a school like TT.

That would make more sense. I thought he meant $300 million per year, which would be ludicrous.

I'm willing to give Ludwig the free use of a 1995 Ford Explorer (He has to pay the insurance) and I'll purchase him one free Pickle Barrel sandwich a week for four years, if he signs with the Cats.
