The announcers said the flu is running through the UC Davis team. I'm assuming it's mostly impacting their defense. They really do look kind a rung out. This is going to be a shootout.

Davis defense are not themselves, either through illness or injuries. Very half-hearted tackling. I think Ill St. will really lean on them this half.

Start of the game when IS returned the KO for the TD the ST players for Davis stopped and watched the TD run. Not a good way to start the game.

This is a surprise to me.... Davis isn't looking like what I have grown to know them to be. Ill st is a force, playing with real confidence and poise. They'll be a tough out.

Looks like a 12 or unseeded team vs. a 2 or 3 seed for the Natty. Crazy.
That would probably never happen is a 24 team FBS playoff.

Pinnick shows that he’s still a RS freshman sometimes. Dawson from Illinois St. reminds me of Pitsenburger from Yale.
