There were rumblings early in the season about Vigen. Now he has done something this historic.
Has a Bobcat coach ever led his team to a more monumental non championship game victory? He wins the big games!

This was an epic win! I'm sure we won't keep him long but I'll be happy to keep him as long as we can!!

40-2 Home record. Too bad Illinios state doesn’t have to come to Bozeman.

Unprecedented success. What he has done here is nothing short of remarkable.
Absolutely solidified himself as a top 2/3 coach in the FCS. If there was any question before.

@msuhunter where you at?
Eat your crow now. And get your ass to Nashville afterwards.

Had other obligations and had to listen to the 4th quarter on the radio.
And working on convincing the powers that be for the Nashville trip!

I was wrong. Beat them in Missoula. Everything else has been a bonus. Then b**ch slapping them in the semis was the icing on the cake. Christmas came early

Can we please not have threads with just peoples names? I saw this one and said "******, which FBS school is calling this time?!"

And if football records were kept like hockey records, he’s 40-0-2. Both losses in OT. Never had a regulation loss.

Instead of a statue, could someone create one of those aristocratic renaissance portrait paintings of Vigen?

He's the best coach we've ever had here and will cement that legacy in nashville. Very likely to become the all time win leader next year, passing 70 in 6 seasons. As others have said, he's created an essentially impenetrable home field advantage. Build the statue.

I agree, donate some money if you can to make it happen! They'll expand as soon as the funding's in place, that's extremely clear at this point. But we've just completed two major donor-funded building projects within the last 5 years so it may not happen immediately like we want it to.

It takes a trifecta:
Best coaches
Best players
Best fans

I agree that he has built a helluva program. The only thing that he ever did that I was very critical of was going for it on 4th and 5 with 2 minutes left in the first half at midfield in last year's NC game when we were already down 14-3 BUT we were going to receive the 2nd half kickoff. He didn't make it and NDSU took it in to go up 21-3. Everyone knew that Tommy would get going and he did and we ended up losing by only 3 points. If we had punted I'm convinced we would have won that game. However, beat Illinois State in Nashville and I will never mention this again.
