Very cool symmetry, hopefully if MSU wins on January 5 it's not another 41 years until they get the next one! I thought this thread was going to be about who will wear #41 next year. My vote goes to Caden Dowler although he could potentially share #41 with Taco as they play on opposite sides of the ball. I like Taco retaining #14 though and having them wear reversed jersey numbers.

Annnnd If they stand next to each other with, it would be the 4's touching! 1441 Twinsies! Also, 44 refers to the Gemini AI Base 44 platform, and Gemini of course in Greek mythology is represented by the twins Castor and Pollux. Castor (Caden) and Pollux (Taco). There was so much hype last year with it being 40 years since winning the natty, that I'm hoping we don't fall into a bunch of that this year with the 41. It's cool for sure, but I really feel it was so much last year, from that senior laden team, undefeated record, Tommy winning the Payton, etc. I'm not sure what caused the first half meltdown, maybe all of that, maybe Vigen interviewing for WSU, maybe none of that. But I just hope the whole team can stay focused and win that sucker this year.
