Early today looking at the webcams the bleachers on top of the terrace are getting dismantled. Anyone know if there just taking it out of the weather or is something new going there?

I heard rumors that a big renovation was going to start a soon as the season was over. I don't know if true but heard it more than one place. Guess we'll see, unless someone here knows more than I do and cares to comment.

Not possible, they'd need to get Board of Regents approval to start a new building project and if that had happened we'd certainly know about it. The Touchdown Terrace was never intended to be permanent so I'm not surprised it's getting taken down. I'm sure it will be back up next September.

Looks like next meeting is Jan 14. No agenda published yet.

Those seats were intended to be temporary, like they do at PGA tournaments. They will be back for next season.

Yep they are temporary. I had the chance to play TPC Scottsdale in March a few years ago, and they had already torn down like half of the 16th hole coliseum when we played. Same idea, the touchdown terrace is temporary and will only be up for football season. I would imagine that it will be rebuilt in August

So apparently, I’m not very smart. It’s gonna be up next season. Why would you take them down now? Just to spend some money who gets paid for that?
