Naturally, the Cats are unanimous #1. Even cooler is that we beat 5 of the top 15 teams. And one of those teams, we actually beat twice! :wink:

Won 6 straight games over top 15 teams, including 5 in the top 8.

Quite a season. Beat UM twice and won an incredible national championship in possibly the best venue the FCS title game has ever had. Brought more fans to an FCS title game than any school in history.

Yale absolutely should be higher. That’s a team of dudes. They are and were under-ranked.

The only surprise to me is that they didn't put the Bison ahead of us. Hope we get another shot at them next year. I know we get a shot at them in 2027.

MSU ended up at #46 in the Sagarin ratings which combines FBS and FCS teams together. Four spots ahead of Tulane which made the FBS playoff.
