I mean I think we make the FCS National Champions 2026 front and center in the middle of the field. EVERY TEAM that places here will see that in the middle of the field and be reminded of it.

Slightly expanding the topic, when was the turf last replaced? Seems like it is about due for a refresh anyway isn't it? It seemed when down on it this year that it didn't have much fill or feel to it. Maybe a good time to add some new numbers.

Sooooooo when we got turf it was the 1984 team that funded it correct?

Wouldn't that be something if we got new turf after our new National Championship! Kind of a cool thing that it started from the last natty team coming together and it leads to our 3rd? Iteration of turf after our next natty!

If so that would seem to indicate a 10 year lifespan between replacements so maybe we have a couple more seasons on this turf.

If i remember correctly that was what they said the last time it was replaced. Its about a 10 year lifespan

It was before the 2017 season. MSU actually had a video camera in the tower that we could log into and watch the installation. Good times.
