Bobcats Earn Big Sky Honors

Jen Allen and Casey Jermyn earned Big Sky athlete of the week honors
Montana State athletes began the outdoor season where they left off during the indoor season, with two Bobcats earning Big Sky Conference athlete of the week honors.
Casey Jermyn was named co-Track Athlete of the Week on the men's side, while Jen Allen is women's Field Event Athlete of the Week. Jermyn posted an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 29:35.52 in the 10,000m at Stanford, the fourth-fastest time in the nation right now.
Allen qualified for the NCAA Midwest Regionals in the shot put and hammer throw at Stanford. She also took over first place in the discus, and is the only Big Sky athlete to qualify for the regionals in more than one event.
