They just announced on TV that the game will not be on OMEGA tomorrow. Doesn't matter to me, because I will be there watching in person, but why is this one not on. I like to watch the replays on Friday afternoons and see what I missed watching in person.

Pretty sure it is the same reason as last week as I believe I remember seeing that Altitude also had the Weber game on it's list of games. Find a Dish Network subscriber if you want to see it.

Yep, Altitude is carrying the MSU coaches show and game so it won't be on Omega.

I have to wait until Wednesdays or Thursdays to see the game via VHS from a friend in Montana. This will be two weeks in a row!! This is a bunch of BS!!!!!
Not everybody has a dish or satelite. or whatever it seems to take to get games from this "altitude sports".
I decided not to drive up to the game because I thought that I knew I would be able to watch it in a few days!
Sorry that I am so hot about this, but it is flat out BS!!

The infamous Doug Fullerton is responsible for this mess. He can be reached at the league offices.

This is total BS. If Omega brought their equip and talent to the game, like they usually do, then why would they have to buy Altitude's feed? Couldn't they just "make" their own feed? Does Altitude have exclusive rights to whatever game they feel like? Hell, even the C/G game was carried on 3 different networks last year, far from exclusive. This is starting to cut into our in-state exposure which is not in MSU's best interests, which was the reason we were given for this f*ed up arrangement. doug fullerton is a BOOB.
One game I can live without,
Two games starts to sting a little,
Three and I'll start exacting a painful revenge, mr. fullerton, so sleep lightly...
By the way, are the Griz gonna get screwed out of in-state exposure due to this bumf*k network, or does their exclusive t.v. deal trump Altitudes? If so then we should ink a deal with Omega beginning asap, enough of this fly by night crap.
Okay, I just got off of work, and I need to take a quick nap before I leave for Bozeman . As you can tell, I'm a little on edge right now.[/b]

No offense Bruno, but there are probably more people in Montana that want to watch the MSU games compared to all other out-of-state viewers combined. Fullerton is just dumb-f&k.
GavinD - pick me up when you're on your way to bring the hammer down.
Until then, call Fullerton - A LOT - at the league offices and tell him what an idiot he is.

Watched last week and will be watching today

If not for Altitude, I would listen over internet-radio..
"GO CATS"

It's not the fact that it's on Dish Network that bothers me... it's the fact that it's
only on Dish Network. Apparently Altitude Sports says that it is up to us fans to call our providers and demand that they carry Altitude Sports. Hmm, thats great for them, and everything, but I'd rather hold my Conference Commisioner responsible for putting together one of the most assinine business deals I've ever seen.
Is he involved financially with Altitude in any way? I just can't understand why you'd sign an exclusive deal with some shabby channel that refuses to deal in any way with the conference's local networks. This is how broadcasts of I-AA games have worked for eons. Altitude is shady and cutthroat in it's infancy, and I can't get behind that.
If I were The Commish, and business deals were simple and straighforward, I think a two year deal with Altitude would have worked better. The first year they would have been required to sell their broadcasts to any Conference markets that didn't have Altitude, of course they would have to be compensated fairly. The second year, they could have exclusive broadcast rights. That way, at least they could lobby their case to us fans in the off season, in an attractive manner. Instead we find out two days before the game last week that they aren't going to play ball at all, and it's all up to us if we wan't to see the game.
I can't fault Altitude's stance from a business standpoint; but they are, in fact, using us as a leverage point to strengthen their company. Sorry, but I'm not gonna be their corporate tool.
I'll just have to obtain free, bootlegged copies of the games from the few outlets (friends with DishNet) that I know. That way, at least I can say I screwed them back... just a little bit.
Please tell me that Altitude is not carrying any more 'Cat games this year. I've had enough of their "exposure" for one season.
Sorry for the long winded post, but this mess really irks me.

I would have to disagree that Altitude's business plan in this deal is sound. I mean, really, how many Montanans are going to run right out and get Dishnetwork or call a local tv channel to make a deal with Altitude?
Ummm - 'no one' is the correct answer. No one is going to get Dishnetwork just to watch 5 or 6 Cat games. No one is going to call their local tv channel to encourage them to sign a deal with Altitude.
As you said, we'll watch bootleg copies of the game. And we'll listen to Atterbury in real time - the latter of which is more thrilling than even watching the game on tv. Chris has gotta be one of the play-by-play radio guys in the country.
Sorry, Altitude and Fullerton - I f#rt in your general direction!

Fullerton is an absolute idiot, and he continues to prove this notion with every move he makes. How this fool ever got a promotion boggles my mind! The way he runs the Big Sky, it is really no surprise that our Athletic Dept. is just now turning things around...

If you're going to watch the Cats' games on tape after the fact, for your own sake, skip the first half. I'm still kicking myself for coming for the whole game, when I've learned that the first half is a total waste of time.

I've watched the game about 3 times and the first half (while bad) doesn't look as bad on film to me as it did being there in person? Why is that? heheheh.
WE HAVE TO CUT THE TO'S AND STUPID PENALTIES DOWN AND THIS TEAM WILL GET ROLLING!
