No. 4 Montana (6-1) at Portland State (3-4), 6:35

You have to like Portland State’s state of mind coming into the game against the Grizzlies. The Vikings have played good enough to win the last two games, but lost in overtime to Montana State two weeks ago and blew a 10-point lead before falling in the final seconds at Northern Arizona last week. With two heartbreaking losses, the Vikings have went from possibly being 5-2 and playing Montana for first place in the Big Sky to a 3-4 record and pretty much done in the playoff race. Montana is supposed to be everyone’s Super Bowl in the Big Sky, and with the way they’ve lost in the past two weeks human nature would indicate the Vikings will be very focused as they get to play the Grizzlies at home. The Vikings really match up well with Montana. The already weak pass defense of Montana will struggle against Portland State as their huge offensive line buys Wiser all the time he needs. If things go as predicted for Montana, this could be the last time they leave the state until just after Thanksgiving. The Grizzlies will take a step backwards towards securing a high playoff seed by losing their final road game. Prediction: Montana 17, Portland State 27

Hey PDX, funny but stay away from the MSU loss prediction...we don't need this guy screwing things up by predicting us to win. :-k
