Time to reinvest
Like I said last night, Saturdays game was frustrating, but as I have said before as hard has we may have taken the loss the men's and even the women's teams took it much harder. The thing I need to remind myself is how incredibly young this team is, one senior, and even most of our juniors are in there first year in the program. These are hard working athletes with great coaches, who really give it there all on the court, or field. We have a game coming up this Thursday against NAU it is time to leave Saturday behind and hitch up the wagons and get behind The Cats (including the women). We are not Grizzly's. We are Bobcats, we support our teams through thick and thin.

Amen, mslacat. I always tell people "through thick and thin I'm a Bobcat fan." And I do bleed blue and gold.
I am glad you decided to post again. I enjoy reading your input.

Re: Time to reinvest
My girls were disappointed on Sunday after witnessing both games, and we had a long talk. I told them that sometimes it's really rough being a Bobcat fan, because we've seen our share of disappointments. At the same time, we've also seen a good deal of success. And because of those lows, our highs are just that much sweeter. But the one thing I noted is that we always come back. We're there every Saturday in the fall at Bobcat Stadium. We're there in the Brick Breeden Fiedlhouse after tough losses and jubilant wins. I was pretty peeved last weekend, but bottom line is that I love MSU and I love the 'Cats! We are young, very young. Only one senior, and bunch of talent coming back next season. What a great crowd we had Saturday night - there's no reason it can't be like that all the time. We've only got two more home games this season. It would be nice to see the fans come out again and try to lift this team into the Big Sky tourney.mslacat wrote:Like I said last night, Saturdays game was frustrating, but as I have said before as hard has we may have taken the loss the men's and even the women's teams took it much harder.
