Binford picks up another Commit

MSU Basketball Coach Tricia picked up her third commit (by my count) of the 2010 recruiting season in Ausha Cole. Ausha is a lightning quick 5-7 point guard from Gilbert Arizona. Her team was 25-7 last year and featured 3 players who will most likely all sign with D-1 clubs this year. All three by the way are point guard prospects. Cole averaged 9 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assist, 5 steals a game while shooting 34% from the field, 29% from beyond the 3 point arc and 66% from the charity stripe. Kansas was also involved, but she loved the outdoor activities that Bozeman had to offer.

With the graduation of Erica Perry after this year I feel much better with Binford loading up with two quality point guards this season in Ausha Cole, and previuos commit Kate Webb to go along with current freshman Alley Schmitt

Great job Mslacat..as mentioned on Coach Binford's blog picking a school that emphasizes a players style of play is important and she has done a great job in recruiting the type of players that fit her system.

Looks like a good pickup...I guess you can never have enough point guards! The sparse number of fans in the background only enforces what I've known all along--most Montana towns definitely support their high schools sports a heckuva lot more than a ton of other large population states. I say "most" because that crowd in the background it looks like a Missoula high school crowd...
