Re: Jenny Heringer
She must have been granted a medical redshirt and an extra year. She played as a freshman, redshirted her sophomore year mostly because of a problem with her legs; played her junior year and had to bow out last year...presumably because of her legs. Her dad told me she was in great pain her junior year when she played. The NCAA must have given her another year....she probably knows she can't compete at the D1 level....but wants to give it a try at the D11 level. This is just my guess...I have no first hand information!

Re: Jenny Heringer
I wonder if Jenny's legs have healed enough for her to play one more season. I think she could cut it at the D-1 level; I remember seeing her have some excellent games as a Bobcat. She seemed to lose her shot a bit in her last season, and saw less time on the court as the season progressed. However, she may not fit too well in Tricia Binford's system that involves a high-speed running game. I think she felt that her legs were better, and wanted to finish her career. MSU-B might be a good fit for her, and I wish her the best of luck.
