WBB at Sac State

Post by BelgradeBobcat » Thu Jan 19, 2012 11:00 pm

Big threes from Albert and Bussey and free throws from Cole inside the last two minutes got us a 76-71 win. Like the men's team, they blew a double digit lead-but in the first half. They trailed by 2 when Albert hit her three. From the little I watched it looked like Sac State was shooting it really well from out.

ISU is 5-0, then five teams with two losses follow. Some are 4-2, some 3-2. Long way to go, but with wins at MSU and UM, ISU is in good shape.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

There are times when the ladies team looks great, but other times where they really struggle to break full cover pressure brought by teams. There isn't that much difference between the teams that are 5-0 in conference play versus those that are 0-5.

Seems like whatever team brings the best effort on a given night is the team that is going to win.
