Great bounce back game for the lady cats. There was no comparing the peformance of today from Thur. nite against Sac State. The fact that UM beat Sac State today by 30 only adds validity to what a poor game we played at home on Thur.
Maybe we can get back on track and "steal" a couple on the road like Sac State did at our place.
Great D today and excellent shooting from the 3 point line as well as the Foul line. Gosh, the girls must've had something bad for dinner on Thurs.

Re: MSU Women Trounce NAU
It was nice to see a comfortable win even though I never really thought MSU played anywhere near its best other than the last 10 minutes or so of the first half when they turned a 6 point NAU lead into a 12 point MSU lead. Watching NAU, I was pretty shocked that they were able to take UM to overtime on Thursday. However, Sac lost to UM by 20+ today after beating MSU, so playing the second half of the Montana road trip probably had something to do with it for both road teams (NAU was absolutely gassed towards the end of the game - and they can't blame the altitude!).
MSU started off very slowly today but dominated the last 10 minutes of the first half once NAU's only real scoring threat #32 went a bit cold after a hot start. The second half was pretty even, although NAU wasn't ever able to get the lead under 10 and MSU pushed the lead to close to 20 towards the end of the game. Semansky is an awesome rebounder, but has gotten herself into foul trouble with some silly over the back fouls in both games I have seen in person this year (NAU and Wyoming). Shooting could be a problem with Durham out, but Adams had a very nice game today as well as Brumwell in the second half. I don't believe MSU missed a free throw all game, which was nice to see. MSU shouldn't have any trouble making the conference tournament, and has the players to get hot and make a run (or the ability to go cold and lose to anyone anywhere).
