Ranking the arenas of the Big Sky

http://www.stadiumjourney.com/news/05-0 ... a-rankings" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I wrote the intro paragraph and the MSU review. The rankings are based on Stadium Journey's fanfare scale and reviews were done by several different writers so that throws things a bit out of wack. Also, they're ranking more than just the arena. The food, atmosphere, fans, neighborhood, access, and bonus points factor in as well. Personally, I think the top 3 are about right. Then I'd put Southern Utah and MSU. Then NAU, then the rest. I think Sac State's is a bit high but the reviewer happened to be there during a sold out night-so that little gym packs in a quite an atmosphere when full.

By the way-the Stadium Journey website is awesome!

More than a week between posts in the basketball forum, during the recruiting season.

Peter Fields, are you seeing this?

Good point!! If interest in MBB declines any further, the mods may as well eliminate the basketball-specific board and just lump hoops in with the "other sports" board.
