SUU has a legit team but I do believe that the lady Cats are overall a better team and hope that we prove it if and when we meet again.
There were enough crazy things happen Thursday night in both men's and women's BSC basketball that I had to check if it was a full moon.
It was not a full moon, so I guess that it was just one of those nights for a bunch of teams.

Not great hoops, but in the lead at the half! I love these announcers…… I wonder if they’re students. Let’s pick it up and get a W!
If they were students, then they were old and very old students. How many times did they say we were from Billings, along with other miscues.
Missed that. I know they talked several times about Kola being from Billings, but didn’t hear it about the school. Of course, it may have been when I was yelling for a foul when the ball was being hacked out of the hands of Bad Bear/Mocchi/Limardo/Jansen/Beattie/_______.

They never did say Bozeman, that I remember. I’d love to know what the players thought, but you are right about hacking — lots of long arms and just slapping at everything in sight. If fouls had been called the game would have still been going.

As I mentioned, it’s true the team had already traveled to Portland before they had to pack up and leave to go to Cedar City on Wednesday. Homework was done in airports. I truly believe most of the problem was tired legs, and heads. When we took our 9-11 point lead, without Kola in the game they just couldn’t get the inside-out game really going. Taylor tried, but Gabby was beaten up by length and octopus arms. Coach Bin had Ava in the game early and that was a clear signal that they needed to protect minutes. Mia was in at times as well. Lindsey we could have used, as I think she is better than their 6’5” post. In the 4th quarter we were slowing down and you could see the result of the OT coming. Just one lousy layup needed to roll in and we would have gotten out of there on time.

I watched a hockey game that same night and I'm not sure there was as much body contact in the hockey game.

1 foul on SUU in fourth and first 2:30 of OT. That is unbelievable in a women's game. But the amount of offensive rebounds we allowed us what beat us.
