WBB Stanford Offensive Preivew

Post by BigSkyBreakdown » Tue Mar 15, 2022 8:47 pm

We brokedown Stanford Cardinals transition offense today and 3 players stood out. Wilson, Jones and Hull

The Cats will need to address this area. Shot selection and how many Binford wants to send to the glass could be a huge factor.

More offensive breakdown of Stanford Offense. Post Play is one of Stanford's key areas.

More to come.

Stay Tuned

Good speed and ball movement on the transitions…and excellent play on the inside…good quick first moves. Obviously talented.

Are you trying to say it’s going to be a long long day for the Bobcats?

Undoubtedly will have to play our best game of the year and hope half their team is down with pneumonia, flu and scurvy to win this one. But we are there….so always hope!!!

That's pretty good. No matter how slim, the chance of the Cats winning is not zero. Every other Big Sky team does have zero chance of advancing.

No matter what happens, this will be a heck of a learning experience for this still very young team. This will only help going into next season. I have a feeling the rest of the league is going to get really sick of us!

I had same thought….we are still a young team and getting here once is only going to whet their appetite for more! Go Cats!

Possibly our last breakdown of Stanford prior to the matchup. Stanford loves to DHO into a reversal to start a lot of their offensive sets. This DHO to reversal action gets the ball turned quickly, and creates spacing and communication issues. IF the ball enters the HP that player has the freedom to do a lot of things. With beautiful spacing, the Cardinal are fun to watch on offense. DHO, P&R, Pin Downs, Curls, ETC...

We broke down ISU and their DHO actions earlier this year and there are a lot of similarities between the two offenses.

Hope you enjoy
