Cats lead 6-5 after the first quarter. Yes, 6-5. We have 5-31 combined shooting from the field so far.

Holy crap, the Bobcats are UGLY at times on offense. This one is close again and has no reason to be.

Cats went from up 31-15 to down 36-33. And just NOW Binford calls a time out. They look lost out there right now on both ends.

Cats fell behind by 5 early in the fourth quarter but went on a 21-4 run to end the game and won it 66-54. Was hoping for a nice stress free afternoon of watching basketball but it was not that! Good win though with the tough UNC/NAU trip coming next week.

Looks like Deden pretty much has the rust knocked off! Great to see.

I thought the D for the most part played very hard except for allowing some layups. Forced a lot of turnovers. Steals.

Regarding the offense, we seem to be standing around too much. We need players cutting to the basket. We need guards to drive it the hole and then dish it off for a layup (like EWU did several times) or kick out for an open 3.

Free throw shooting was MUCH better. Shooting % was not good but I think we'll get there. Still rusty from the break. The ladies DID play hard. They are fun to watch, especially in person.

I thought that freshman Kourtney Grossman from BIllings played very well for EWU. Anyone know if we recruited her? She is tall, drives to the hole and shoots very well. Was this a miss? Of course we have a ton of depth already.

At first glance...I think they play a lot better with Chirrick in the game. She is strong enough to concentrate on MAKING THE FRIGGING BASKET at the end of her drives. You can tell she is stronger than most.
