BB vs ISU

Post by MSU01 » Thu Jan 16, 2025 12:36 pm

Week 3 of conference play opens tonight with the men's team traveling to Pocatello and the women hosting ISU. Both games tip off at 7:00 on ESPN+. Hopefully the women can avoid a letdown game after the big win at NAU last Saturday, and the men can play more like they did after falling behind 16-0 against NAU than they did for the rest of conference play before that!

At times this looks like rec league basketball. Just bad.

The diminished quality of play in the men's league is noticeable. Northern Colorado is about the only team that looks like they could play with the teams in the Sprinkle era. The portal has really degraded the Big Sky.

Very true! That was a statement game, not a letdown.
