Doncic is a stat freak. He's a great shooter. He's on some lists with the likes of Wilt Chamberlin and Jordan, etc. But I'm not sure how effective/efficient he is within his team. Dallas was in The Finals but they only had the fifth best record in the West and were blown out by Boston. They've only won more than 43 (52 and 50) games twice with Doncic. I realize he may not have a lot around him, but those aren't good records for having a player with those kinds of numbers.

I wonder where Nico’s next job will be……cause it doesn’t look like it will be in Dallas!!

I don't really think the trade was his idea. I think the casino owners want to actually tank the team. Las Vegas bound in a few years.

I think that depends on whether the trade was entirely Nico's idea or if it was more dictated by ownership who told him to trade Luka before they had to give him the "Supermax" contract this summer. Other than the Luka trade, Nico has mostly done a very good job. The team was very mediocre early last season until they made a couple trades at the deadline, then they got hot and rode it all the way to the NBA Finals. They can still do some damage in the playoffs this year as long as they can have Kyrie Irving and Anthony Davis both healthy at the same time for more than half a game.

Yeah, a trade like that definitely seems like Nico was given marching orders.
