Walker is a good basketball player and we're lucky to have him. A strong message was definitely sent with the benching, but I think it would be foolish to send Walker packing. It makes more sense to keep him as a valuable piece, his playing time varying according to matchup and gameplan.

I highly doubt they'd send Walker packing, but if he continues to be benched or have his minutes significantly reduced I'd say there's definitely a question as to whether he'd choose to stay. Great player whose weaknesses unfortunately stand out more than his strengths sometimes.

Agreed. I would hate to see BW leave. He has worked really hard to improve his game over these past two years and he's given a lot to this program. Hearing about the work he's been putting in at the free throw line is been great.

I am just spitballing here, absolutely no “inside information.” But, I have a feeling Brandon’s benching was because of something that happened outside of the game. If that is the case, I am perfectly fine not hearing any further information.
