Tech was super impressively defensively, and they just got hot from everywhere on offense. I actually thought our defense wasn't too bad, I think the gameplan was to force them into 3 pointers but they just didn't miss anything it was pretty remarkable.
Tech's defensive made it look we forgot the fundamentals of basketball for a minute, they were that good. Bishop could hardly get around anyone, even guys who were as big as Belo.
It was a clinic on both sides, and I do think that game doesn't go that way most of the time but they are easily 20 points better than us on any given day.
Brutal draw, but proud of how we fought and I'm not going to let this game ruin what an awesome season this truly was.
Defensive strategy was good. Execution was awful. Rotation was WAY to slow and unfortunately didn’t get a lot better after half.
TT still needs to make the shots, and I dont take anything away from them. But they had more wide open shots without a defender within 5 feet than I can ever remember seeing.
Still happy with the season. But those guys are going to remember that showing for a long time.

As usual, quality people representing Bobcat Nation exceptionally well. I'll miss the seniors and am grateful for what they started. More than that, I'm excited about the future of our program.
While registering my vehicles the assessor stated "I have had both Cat and Griz students and alums work for me and the Griz end up working under the direction of the Cats."

TT scored 97 points, the most they've scored against any team, ALL SEASON.
Great time to be a BOBCAT!

TT is bigger, stronger, faster, more athletic, and more skilled. TT played their best game of the year according to their coach. Play that game 100 times with TT playing the way they did...Cats lose 100 times.
So, I'm not sweating the outcome of this game. Good season, keep getting better.

I told my brother I would have rather played any other 3, and most of the 2s and 1s and he thought I was crazy. I knew this was an insanely bad match-up. Really sucks because we aren't ever getting above a 14 with a showing like that. Need to figure out the next step to put the BSC in our back pocket so we can start winning those OOC games.
That said. Great season guys!!

Pretty much have to agree. Interesting to read some (most) of the gris tweets and hear their dissing. As if they would have fared well. That Tech bunch was out of their minds shooting... Not bad D either...

I'm sure I saw 6 Red Raiders out there today. Every ball handler was doubled, and there was someone open for every one of their shots. They also all had 3-6 foot long arms.

I thought the same thing several times. Belo would be triple teamed yet no one was open

The Red Raiders are going to beat the Irish on Sunday and probably send coach K into retirement
The ladies are probably losing to the national championship team

Reminded me when we took a young 10u team from Montana and ended playing a 10u team that got coached by Washington Huskie softball team.
After the initial shock, you realize where you need to go what you can demand of your players once you see it live.
Still hard to recruit that type of athlete to Montana State , but now you know what you are looking for.

The loudmouth Gris fans would do well to remember their 81-34 loss to Syracuse a few years ago before reveling too loudly in MSU's loss today.

Hey Everyone,
I'm a Tech fan and read up on MSU a lot before this game. I have a lot of respect for your program and Coach Sprinkle and was shocked we played as well as we did today.
I just wanted to stop by and remind everyone to keep your chin up. Today was just one of those games where one team couldn't miss and the other couldn't hit the broad side of a barn. We've been on the barn side a few times too and it happens to every team, one of those deals where we aren't as good as we looked today and MSU is better than it looked. Coach Sprinkle and your entire team are class acts.
I wish you guys the best and hope we get to meet up again next year.

Eric Curry?!?!
He's an infamous official. He was notoriously bad in the big sky for a long time....
In fact I think someone on here has a signature line that says "Eric Curry makes me sad"
Luckily he's moved up to the PAC-12, I believe....haha
That would be me. Recorded the game so I could watch it, just finished. Saw Eric Curry very early on and knew it was a bad omen. TTU went bananas offensively, and defensively, they were so skilled and disruptive. Wish we'd played Wisconsin instead of TTU, Colgate gave them all they could handle for 3/4ths of the game. Still proud of what this team did this season, and am excited about the returning talent!
Oh, and I think Curry tried to kick
@CatBlitz out of a game in the brick in the 2005ish timeframe. I believe CatBlitz simply said something to the effect of "how can you make that call?", as he made a call that went against the cats when he was the furthest official from the play in question. Curry about blew a gasket.
Needless to say, I've been a fan every since...
Eric Curry
STILL makes me sad.

So how did Belo play? Whats up with his knee? He looked pretty weak on it in the chipper. I couldn't get the game streamed today due to location so what can ya all tell me.
Thanks
The thing that I noticed, beyond slowed-down moves, was his inability to elevate. He never went skyward for any of his patented blocks, and I don’t remember if he dunked or not. Looked like a shadow of The Real Jubrile Belo.

I remember a play in the second half where he went up for an easy dunk and couldn't even get the ball over the front rim.

Next year's seed will not depend on this game. It will depend on our league scheduling and winning games against good mid majors teams and potentially a high major. When we do that 27 win team will get a better seed.

Makes you think back to that Colorado overtime game, and if that would have been the difference for a better seed.
