So did Lexi and Brandon get in trouble where their coaches decided not to play them? Lol

Coach Bin said it was a coaches decision to not play Lexi and go with a tighter rotation.

Cats will be a very young team next year with only one senior in Marah Dykstra. If Coach Binford can keep the roster mostly intact I think the Bobcats will be right in the mix for another championship next year. As others have said, Natalie will be a star for the next two years. Having the chance to play with Esme this year is going to be absolutely massive for her development as a player. No need to speculate on any specific names but it seems likely that we'll see at least one or two transfer portal departures and additions this off-season. Can't wait to see how much this year's freshmen can improve between now and November.
I disagree. I don't know that we lose anyone.

I watched Ohio State’s post game interview. Kuddos to the Buckeye players. They are very articulate as well as great athletes.
I would take Trish Binford 10 out of 10 times over Kevin McGuff if I had a choice. We are very fortunate.

Lexi Deeden had a great career. I have nothing but appreciation and admiration for her. She battled back from a very serious injury and gave it her all.

100%

If all I listened to was the players answers is be cheering for OSU for the rest of the tournament. But I listened to the coach to ao I'll cheer against them. One of his answers was that we did all we were able to to win they were just more athletic and deep. From him it sounded mind of douchey.

I haven't listened to the post game interview yet but he was very complimentary of Binford and the MSU team in his pregame interview. He definitely has a somewhat quirky way of speaking which I can see coming off the wrong way sometimes. I doubt they get past Texas in the Sweet 16 even if they can beat Tennessee in the next round, who had a much easier time with South Florida than OSU did against the Bobcats.

My gut tells me Hannah Robbins and Teagan Erickson are both leaving.

Congrats to Coach Bin, the staff and players....what an incredible year....did anyone think a 30 win season was in the cards for this program? I thought they'd be good, but man did they exceed any expectations I had.....team will be very good again next year. Looking forward to watching the younger players develop and see how Marah performs as a senior.

One other point....I think more support for this program is important....what's the best way to do that? Season tickets? Fastbreak club? Bobcat Collective....interested in your thoughts.

Definitely all of the above, but I think the Fast Break Club would be my first choice for the best way to support women's basketball specifically. I'm not sure what percentage of the NIL funding goes to WBB but it can't be very high as I assume football dominates there.

It all depends on how you want to support the team as the 3 paths you mention route money to different areas. Season tickets are going to scholarships and general operations. Fastbreak club will largely cover program specific items that aren’t in the general budget provided to the team by the university. Collective funds are dollars that will go directly to players. All are important and need to be working together for a healthy and successful program.

Teagan Erickson is a freshman and it's not common for freshman to play. Taylee is an anomaly. Natalie played last year as a frosh because we didn't have Dylan healthy. Teagan seems kind of raw and when she gets more muscle she's going to really have some power.

Hannah Robbins has talked about how rough it's been since her brother passed away and how much the team support has meant to her. The whole team wears a symbol of her brother on their warmup shirts. They support her so much.

Brooke Berry has her arm in a cast. So she hasn't been able to play all year because of that.

What are the rules anymore? Like say you say players of whatever team out at DQ getting ice cream or at a coffee shop getting coffee. Can you buy them a Blizzard? A cup of coffee? Or is that still in permissable. You know since you haven't been able to give out hot dogs at tailgates in the past.

I'd be a little surprised if Teagan left so soon, she didn't play much this season compared to the other freshmen but I thought she showed a lot of promise when she got her opportunities. I was thinking more of the players who have struggled to get on the court due to injuries as those most likely to not be on the team next year whether through transfer or retirement.

Teagan could be our KJ next year?

This was a great season. I'm confident that next year will be very good as well. My only suggestion would be for Coach Bin to schedule a few other teams that have the athleticism that OSU had prior to conference play. We have handled the press all year without any problem, but we had not played teams that had such big strong quick players that OSU had. I really feel that if we played OSU again next week, we would have a lot less turnovers and would play them a more competitive game. I will be purchasing season tickets once again and this time I'm going to join the Fastbreak Club.

I thought the crowd was kind of whiny with their booing, especially on that obvious push foul on Izzy. Maybe they're just as onery as we are in the Brick and I'm just biased?
