Now I close the BSTV window and try logging back in and it replays the same about 8 seconds of audio over, and over, and over - during a time out with 1:50 left - then freezes again. I give up - will someone post a final score when its over, please?

I can't blame BSTV. Check out the PSU game. The picture is great.

The Lady Griz ended up winning 67-60. A very good game. The Cats played very well, and were certainly shooting lights out from Three.

Yup, I got the same thing. This isn't the first game it has happened, either. MSU needs to get their sh*t in gear for BS TV.

Why are the Bozeman games always the poorest quality? Does Big Sky TV send someone to every game in the conference to film these games? Who pays the film crew? Who is in charge of getting the broadcasts to Big Sky TV?

I see you posted this same thing in the sticky thread for Will's blog. Got anything better to do?

We are having some issues with Big Sky TV and not having a lot of luck getting them addressed. They have no technology in their hardware to be able to trace any problems, but at this point we have narrowed it down to a bandwidth problem. The destination IP (network "internet" address) of Broadcast International has been assigned to a restricted pathway here at MSU. MSU basically has four paths for IPs and the path it takes depends on where it is going. We have two unrestricted paths here but Big Sky TV's IP does not travel (subscribe) on either, and that is because of their provider. We have no power to change this on our end as a receiver's IP (Big Sky TV) determines which pathway they use. We are going to try and see if we can remedy this. We cannot change their IP to go over one of our unrestricted paths, however, but they may be able to work on it.This is something we should have worked out earlier but didn't realize until we ran a trace on their IP address. These technology issues have a lot of players--us, MSU's system, Broadcast International (Big Sky TV) and their provider. We are honestly doing the best we can, but this bandwidth stuff is all out of our control. We are very sorry, especially for those families who have daughters and sons playing and can't get to the games. I can guarantee we are working on it.

Okay, and MSU's stats show the score MSU 21, PSU 19.

Really. Is it that difficult? You're an engineering school.

We are not using Live Stats tonight because the wireless connection in the fieldhouse is down and that's what we use for Live Stats. It's a little like the Twilight Zone here tonight, technologically speaking.
