Re: Cats at PSU
That was a nice win. I didn't get to hear most of it, but the Cats took control and won the game. That win locks up a tournament spot for the Bobcats. For all practical purposes, another win clinches at least the #4 seed. If anything, it would be nice to see that playoff game at home. And I'm excited about the Bobcats getting a road win in February! That was huge.
GO CATS!
It's always a good day to be a Bobcat fan!

My name is Steve, if you'd like to know.

Re: Cats at PSU
So...does anybody know how the tie-breaker would work with NAU? The Lumberjacks have 3 left and should win all three. They host PSU and EWU and they finish up at Sac. That would leave them at 8-8.
Meanwhile-if we should lose our last two we'd be 8-8. We have wins over montana and UNC whereas NAU was swept by them. Would that favor us in the tie-breaker? Or is it figured another way-such that our two losses to EWU could hurt us?
Or maybe I should just count on beating Sac and rendering this all moot.
As I see it-we could finish as high as 2nd and as low as 5th.

Re: Cats at PSU
MSU wins the tiebreaker over NAU since they determine ties from the top down. In this case, it would actually help that MSU lost twice to EWU whereas NAU lost to the better teams. MSU also obviously wins the tiebreaker with PSU, so the only way we don't get a home game is if PSU wins out and we lose both remaining games. This probably isn't too likely - I can see us possibly losing both our remaining games, but doubt PSU will be able to sweep the NAU/UNC road trip next weekend.BelgradeBobcat wrote:So...does anybody know how the tie-breaker would work with NAU? How about them ISU Bengals. I didn't see that one coming.

They are a better team than their record suggests - they could easily be .500 in conference and overall. Just a tough luck season for the Bengals.BelgradeBobcat wrote:Thank you.MSU01 wrote:MSU wins the tiebreaker over NAU since they determine ties from the top down.
