wow. this is bizarre. even for this place. let me break it down for you real slowly so you can stop looking clueless.syvie5 wrote:Congratulations Lady Cats!!

Go Cats!
1. bozbobcat gave his analysis of the womens tourney stating that he thought psu was the one team he really couldn't see winning it all
2. some poster got all butt hurt like saying the 5th seed in the tourney might not win it is shocking and insulting or something.

3. i responded with a QUESTION...why did he feel pswu deserved more credit than they were given
4. he in turn started up with ridiculous little names for us and again acted like we were crazy for thinking psu may not win it
5. i responded that in my opinion, msu and psu had the toughest roads to win a championship
6. i also stated i don't follow the womens teams much, but 5 and 6 seeds normally don't get a lot of hype in the tourney
i didn't call names. i never said any particular team couldn't win it all. and i didn't act like an expert. after tonights games i stand by my statement 100%. psu has to play and beat montana to even get to the championship game, let alone win it. msu has to beat the best team in the conference and host team ewu to even get to the championship game, let alone win it. it's going to be a tough road. i'm anxiously awaiting an explanation of what it was that i said that gave me the honor of getting called out.
not to mention...i'm a cat fan. but for what it's worth, WTG is right here.

go cats!
do you have to know everything to post here? or just think you do?

Re: BSC Women's Tournament
I think I gave Portland State some motivation. They beat the Lady Griz this afternoon to advance to the championship. How about a 5 vs. 6 championship, everyone? MSU vs. Eastern Washington should be an exciting game.
GO CATS!

Re: BSC Women's Tournament
Between PSU pounding the boards and lighting it up from the 3 point line this game was over quickly.
On the women's side this conference is just plain crazy. Whoever wins tonight will be in a heck of a battle tomorrow night.

Down year in the Big Sky this year, and everyone is pretty even. No game is a big surprise as anyone can beat anyone, but I see a rough road for whomever goes to the dance.

Re: BSC Women's Tournament
I think that someone was saying that whoever wins this game gets to play Stanford in the first go around. Nothing like going against Jane Appel (2nd best center in the nation) plus a set of 6-4" guards and Josilyn Tinkle.
Early consensus is that Stanford may be the only team that can mount a legit attack against UConn.

Re: BSC Women's Tournament
Anyone know where to find the game on Internet radio. Best I can do is cbsportsline. It shows MSU up 29-26 with 18:45 left.
MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

That's the link for My 103.5 in Bozeman, the station that carries the women's basketball games. Click on "Listen Live" in the top left corner.
A quick score update: Erica Perry has 15; 47-46 Eastern Washington with less than 9 to go.
