I think this is a good hire. He does have D-1 assistant experience at Idaho along with being the head coach. He was fired at Idaho and had a couple of transfers that would have been eligible the next season and they turned into good players and the new coach was the beneficiary of that. He's not going to win a GQ contest but he's a solid basketball guy.

And he appears to fullfill the requirement that all assistants be shorter than the head coach (requirement Durham also had I think) :wink:

and it was MUCH harder for durham to pull that off than huse. 8)

He's also not going to win any character contests based on how he ran the program at MSUB...
