And that's exactly why I think this should be the last straw for Fields. Giving Huse a contract extension was stupid and crazy, but giving him a 2-year extension is inexcusable.

Was that decision made exclusively by Fields?

Not sure. But he's the A.D., so ultimately the responsibility for the decision rests with him. I suppose, unless the decision was Cruzado's. That doesn't really seem like her, though. And even if it was, I want an A.D. that is going to fight to make the decision HE wants to make.

So any positives, Cruzado gets the praise, and any negative, Fields get the blame?

I don't really care if Fields comes or goes, but I have seen enough times where the peanut gallery didn't really know what it was talking about when the pitchforks came out that I always feel the need to ask these kinds of questions.

Whoever ultimately made the decision, I really never did understand it.

No, I wouldn't say that Cruzado only gets praise and Fields only gets criticism. If the decision was, in fact, made by Cruzado, she deserves plenty of criticism.
