Any writeup on this game?
Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

Coach Fish was great and seeing former teammates and other former players was a great experience. My back is killing me, but it was all worth it.

Harrison is still pretty good. Carlos Taylor really likes the ball. Nick Dissly can play with a purpose. I had fun at the game, as did the other 150 people. Then players had fun. A good bunch of them eat as well as me. Calvin ? has a great cheering section. Mickey mouse shoes look ridiculous, even on a guy that can still run. I'm not a writer, so that's my article on the game.

I took a few videos at the game, nothing great just my phone from the stands but I thought others that weren't able to make it might enjoy seeing a bit of it.

Thanks kmax, very fun to watch. Does anyone know where a photo of the entire group can be located? I've been looking everywhere. Seems it would be easier to get pictures of Seal Team 6!

wish I could have been there... and I wish there were some of the current students there, looks mostly like former students. I guess it's a good start, I will definitely try to attend next time.

Tom, I've never had the pleasure to meet you, and I was at MSU after you played. But, damn, you can still play!Domako wrote:Montana State Basketball facebook page has it.Mr Lisle wrote:Thanks kmax, very fun to watch. Re: Alumni game (Sept. 20)
I'll add a couple things. First, was a really neat experience to see this. Players seemed to have a great time. Heard a couple of them say they didn't really know what they were getting into when invited, but were really excited about the event and continuing with it as it goes forward.
Second, I overheard one current player make the comment that he was really excited about what was going on with the MSU basketball program with Fish here, and that he only wished he had more time at MSU to be part of it.
Lastly, this was a great day to see a group of men who are very proud of the tradition of MSU men's basketball. I've faded away from really following the program the last few years because of the product on the court, but I'm excited. I was very proud on Saturday seeing these men return to their basketball home and suit up again for the Fighting Bobcats.
(And it was really cool hearing Dean Alexander again!)

Thanks, I appreciate the compliment. My kids are older now and were at the game, so it was fun for myself and the others to go out and put on a little show.KittieKop wrote:Tom, I've never had the pleasure to meet you, and I was at MSU after you played. The main focus now is to bring people back to MSU basketball. Lets get butts in those seats this year while coach Fish and a bunch of dedicated young men turn this ship around. I'm excited and I hope this gets others excited to support coach Fish and the team.

Had to be an absolute blast to take the floor again while the Bobcat Fight song was playing. Bet you never thought that would happen again.

Re: Alumni game (Sept. 20)
Dean Alexander introduced Craig Kilborn as one of the players who did not suit up. I think I saw him in the stands. Did anyone see or talk to him? I am curious about what he has been doing since he left late night TV.
I am a huge Dean Alexander fan, and I miss hearing him on KBOX-AM. It was great to see and hear him announce this alumni game. I hope he is enjoying his retirement. Does anyone know whether he still plays golf every day at Bridger Creek with Dave Visscher?

Re: Alumni game (Sept. 20)
I always hated when hw called football games. 1st down he would say something like 1st and 10 from the 20. Six yard run. Second and 8 from the 22. I would be yelling at the radio, saying what happened to the other 4 yards?duelalumnicat wrote:Dean Alexander introduced Craig Kilborn as one of the players who did not suit up.
