Wow, this officiating is just brutal. One minute it's a scrum and the next they're blowing bumps. At least be consistent if you're going to be bad.

Exactly. Consistently bad beats all over the place and bad. It's hard to believe this is the best the big sky can run out there for officials.

We are certainly not getting any favors from the officials,

I feel like they fouled Xavier and then we get called for traveling... am I wrong?

I love how the Cats have played this game. So much energy, so physical. Great defense, rebounding well. Best I've seen Fernandez play in a while. Sprinks has managed personnel really well too.

Yikes that looked like an awful call on ISU on that trap.

Yes! May this be the beginning of a new and more successful era for MSU in the Big Sky Tournament under Sprinkle.

Great win! Now we'll get to see how we really stack against a darn good SUU team. Happy for coach and the guys!!

Pushed thru all kinds of adversity when it mattered most! Belo out with foul trouble , Adamu cold, 0 percent 3pt shooting, and the opponents had a big guy who could score... BUT they held firm and got it done!

70 free throws in this game. That's crazy.

Cats had 40 attempts. High for the season in conference play was 38 (Weber vs. UM). That's just two teams that wanted to muck it up and play physical. I would imagine SUU will be very different.

As painful as that was to watch, I'm afraid we will need similar ugliness and lack of rhythm tomorrow for us to be in the game. I'm personally hoping for another low scoring sh!t show that make the refs wonder about their life choices. I just think it gives us our best chance.

Well glory be! We got a tournament win. That is a great accomplishment for this program in its present state. I absolutely did not expect it. I was waiting for us to blow the lead and we just never did-a lot thanks to ISU who just didn't play very well.

I can't believe we won a modern day D-1 tournament game while hitting one three pointer! What happened to this team's outside shooting? Nobody has any confidence. Other teams are jacking up and hitting threes all over the place, and we're scared to do it. Remember that UNLV game? Seems like a decade ago.

With ISU shooting as poorly as they did, this should have been a blow out. It wasn't, but it was a pretty comfortable win for a tournament game. I'm not gonna complain...too much.

SUU is going to be a handful and maybe a bridge too far for this team, but let 'er rip! Nothing to lose and everything to gain now. Go Cats!

Loved the quote from Danny in the post-game interview, "I didn't take this job to get to the semifinals."

This felt like a game from 1992. Physical, very few threes even attempted, they had a true center playing with his back to the basket.
