The whole whiny-little-bitch routine from gris on Moody's foul is a lot like the whiny-little-bitch routine on the 'foot out of bounds' excuse in the loss to Sac in football. Gawwd that fan base is insufferable lately.
It's funny because Griz fans have given Cat fans grief for years about blaming the refs, and now that the calls are on the other foot so to speak they not only are complaining loudly but I've seen so many posts about wanting to leave the Big Sky because the reffing is so bad. They literally want to pick up their ball an go to another playground because they calls aren't 90% in their favor like they seemed to be forever.

Turns out Griz fans are just like any other fanbase in the world, they get cranky when they lose and look for someone to blame. They just had so many years of not losing that they didn't need to care.

There's been a few comments on role reversal between the two programs/universities, and I agree completely. Here's the thing about Saturday: instead of turning a 14 point lead into 20 and delivering a painless death, the gris teams gave their entire fanbase hope. It's the hope that creates the real pain that stays with you after a tough loss. Even the walk off 3-ball from gris in the women's game only served to twist the dagger already inside them. Their team was standing there wanting to be happy, but simultaneously crushed from the loss after fighting their butts off to get back in it.

Saturday for the gris represented exactly what it's been like to be a Cat fan for the few decades of darkness. I could actually feel their anguish from the stands on Saturday. Twice.
