That's cool. I think I heard Strand scored 11 points in the final five minutes.

We lost to PSU by 7 at their place and beat them by 10 in Bozeman on Feb. 13. Should be an even matchup.

PSU will also be on their third game. A quick turn-around with the game starting at 3p.m. (MST).

It's on Altitude by the way.

It will be the first time that the 5th and 6th seed meet in a championship game on the ladies side.

Great game. Erica Perry was an animal, and Strand has got to be one of the most complete players to ever play for the Cats.

Zero bench points, but they sure played hard.

Actually 11 pts for Strand in the last 4:30. She's the female version of Michael Jordan!!!

AJ only had 8 pts in the last 4:30 the other night. Alpha's gonna just rip Strand apart....no pun intended. What a ball hog, eh Alpha?

Game starts at 3 tomorrow.

First time a #5 and #6 seed have played for the Big Sky Championship. The ladies were awesome. With the distance from Cheney to Missoula, the griz should already be back in grizville and tucked safely in bed.

Best of luck tomarrow.

Very exciting - finally we get to play a BSC title game that isn't on the opponent's home court, although it took a road win to make it that far! Would be awesome to see MSU back in the NCAAs even if we will get drubbed by Stanford in Round 1. Go Cats!

Interesting stat: 0 bench points in last night's semifinal for MSU. Might need more of a contribution from the bench today playing for the third consecutive day...

Congrats to MSU and good luck in the final. It amazes me how EWU's coach sits the leagues MVP for 18 minutes of the first half because she had two fouls. She never fouled again after coming in cold the second half and never got into the game.. I'll be watching the final as it should be a great game.

It's really tough to beat a team three times in a season. EWU had a historic season-congrats to them.

bpcats wrote:I think that someone was saying that whoever wins this game gets to play Stanford in the first go around. Nothing like going against Jane Appel (2nd best center in the nation) plus a set of 6-4" guards and Josilyn Tinkle.

Early consensus is that Stanford may be the only team that can mount a legit attack against UConn.
i have heard that too and i'm just not buying it. uconn is light years ahead of every other team in the country. i don't think they have a game closer than 15 points throughout the entire tournament.

do you have to know everything to post here? or just think you do?

Is the game on TV here in Bozeman? If so, what channel?
