I still wonder if the shooting’s not an artifact of practicing and playing in the Brick. Both the Men and the Women were afflicted with “Bricks Syndrome” last night. Can Caleb Bellach un-transfer?

I don’t know what to think about the women. They are not scoring in transition or very early offense as much as before, and their 3-point shooting in half-court is just really sporadic. They really started to run over Sacramento St. last night in the middle of the third quarter, but another 20-point second quarter deficit was too much to overcome. They gave up too many open threes to some very quick-trigger shooters. Kola keeps getting better and better.

The men have definitely struggled since Belo’s hand injury. He’s just not himself on offense. Osobor is one special dude. That steal and fast break basket by a guy his size was rare stuff to watch.

Happy that the men have locked up the #2 seed. Now the women have to buckle down and win two and take that #1 seed. These teams are pretty talented to have those seeds, and yet are struggling a bit to the eyes of those that watch them closely. Go ‘Cats, Go! 💙 💛 😺

What actually did he to his hand/wrist? Sounds like he is unable to have any grip or flexibility in his wrist?

Bello tore the webbing between the pinkie and ring finger on his hand a 2 (?) weeks ago. He plays with the hand bandaged and it may be affecting his grip, especially when he makes quick ball movements down low.
I am really hoping the 3 point buckets start to drop as the team as a whole is in a major shooting slump from downtown. A different court and atmosphere in Boise might just be the ticket to lighting up the treys, at least I hope so!
Go Bobcats!
