Totally agree. Your best player should make everyone around them better. I had similar feelings about Tyler Hall. Probably the best offensive player EVER as MSU, but everyone just stood around watching him most of the time, and Tyler was not a great defender.BelligerentBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 1:32 pmYour supposition that he’s likely the best player is false.technoCat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 1:26 pmSo, you bench the guy that is most likely your best player suddenly at the end of the year because he suddenly doesn't fit the offense you are trying to run? Bit of a head scratcher...BelgradeBobcat wrote: ↑Tue Mar 04, 2025 10:58 amThis is just a very very weird situation. It's a little like Coach Norman Dale (Gene Hackman) finishing the game with 4 players instead of putting in Rade Butcher because he shot before they made four passes. Maybe Matt Logie will be the main character in an inspiring basketball movie about the plucky Bobcats making an improbable NCAA tournament run...
Very talented, but still a net negative. Reminds me of Al Jefferson in that regard. Really good player, but not for a winning team.

Mens all conference teams selection only has one Bobcat this year. Brandon Walker, honorable mention.
The State of Montana is Bobcat country.
