Oh my goodness luck is on our side. The griz cut it to 5 and we have a possession that looks like it is headed to disaster...Van Sickle banks in a three! That might have saved our bacon right there.

The CATS are way out of sync today and still keeping a +- 10 point lead. The griz are playing much better than Thursday night. We are fortunate... Keep it that way!!!

Beattie is doing some very good things for our team-little things that amount to a lot.

Stiles was really kept quiet on the offensive end today.
Yeah you can definitely tell who signs the announcers paycheck. He is able to call good play by play but spoils it by being such a cheerleader

Bobcats win! Way to hold them off. They were undefeated in that building for a reason. Darian White kept them at arm's length with the late free throws. Van Sickle's bank three and then Martell's conventional three point play were the difference when it was getting a little hot.

Nice job ladies! That Van Sickle three was great, I just had to laugh when that went in. Four very winnable games coming up against winless Weber State and EWU before a huge 4-game stretch against the two Idaho teams at the end of February. Too bad the men couldn't add to the win total this weekend, hopefully they can get one of those games rescheduled or meet in the conference tournament.

I think we would have split with the men. By all accounts the men were “laser focused” going into the week.

Re: Lady Cat vs. griz game
NAU averages a bit above 73 PPG (were leading conference when we played them) and Montana averages a bit over 71 PPG. This is the 4th game in a row that our young team held teams over 10 points under their season average.
Montana is also one of the top rebounding teams in the conference and I believe we out rebounded then again today.
I still believe defense wins championships. That this young team can play D and show times of offensive brilliance is outstanding. I know Idaho State is only allowing 60 PPG with a more experienced team so that matchup will be interesting.
But for now we sit alone in 3rd place. And as noted above two weeks of very winnable games, it could set up some terrific matches the last couple weeks of the season.
Eastern Washington is the most challenging games over next couple weeks and games are at EWU. And let’s hope Weber doesn’t pull a bunny out of the hat. Let’s close this season out sweeping.
Go Cats!!!

Yeah he seems like a class guy. They should give him a chance. They’re not lacking in talent.Colter_Nuanez wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 11:04 pmI texted multiple people this exact same thing after the presser got over...Bobcat4Ever wrote: ↑Thu Jan 28, 2021 10:51 pmColter, thanks for loading up that presser and linking it up here. Nothing new but you could tell, fans or not, that it’s still ‘Cat-griz. I don’t know anything about Mike Petrino, but it’s been a long time since I heard a um coach give MSU much credit for anything. What’s the chance that he gets hired there? Does he need to beat the ‘Cats on Saturday, or does he get a little grace period?

Skye Lindsay is looking to be a player as her post injury minutes increase. What a “problem” Coach has now and in the future rotating Bad Bear, Mocchi, Deden, & Lindsey down low. Oh, and if they’re in a pinch, Limardo & Janssen can fill in too. And not to be forgotten, 6-6 Lindsey Hein, from Forsyth, will be joining next year.

I'm thinking this will be a 20+ win team next season and the following...might see a NCAA tournament win as well. Hats off to Coach Binford...really assembling a terrific team.arvcat2 wrote: ↑Sat Jan 30, 2021 4:44 pmSkye Lindsay is looking to be a player as her post injury minutes increase. Re: Lady Cat vs. griz game
Each game it seems someone else steps up. How about Jansen pulling through with 11 points in the first half. That was key to building and maintaining the lead. She went 4 for 4 from the field including 2 treys and 1 for 1 from FT line....perfect shooting for the day. Second half I don’t know that she had many minutes and I don’t recall her shooting.
