We have absolutely no answers today. They are just quite a bit better than us. It's that's simple. We have a long way to go to get where we want to go.

This team can't get out of their own way. Had such high hopes that Sprinkle had finally turned this program around, looking like it definitely won't be this season...

Men's team is doomed to be middle-of-the-pack forever. How do they get such good players to go to Cheney. They are so much better than us it's not even funny.

Women-off to a good start again. Still too sloppy and too many turnover, but they still have a nice lead right now.

EWU announcer just said he sounds like he's auditioning to be president of the Darian White fan club.

I don’t know why I still get upset when this literally happens every year.

Yeah, at the beginning of each season, I just prepare myself for the worst. Then, the Cats do something like upset UNLV and go 6-0 to start Big Sky play and I’m feeling pretty great. Then, the real Cats show up and I’m brought quickly back down to Earth.

Bobcat athletics is a business to the coaches, school leadership, and players. It's time the fans treat Bobcat athletics as a business too.

Binford won’t be happy after this weekend. Two wins but overall play not up to standards to be champion.

Idaho beats ISU in Moscow. First Bengal conference loss, but it puts MSU that much closer to first place. Watching a little bit of that game it's going to be interesting to see how our freshmen react to the physical pummeling they are going to get from the older UI and ISU players.

We clearly overrated and overhyped the Bobcat men based on a 6-0 start against the 8th, 9th, and 10th place teams in the conference standings, and not too surprisingly they went 0-4 against one team they're clearly not as good as (EWU) and lost two tough road games against Weber that easily could've gone the other way. Ultimately they are what we thought they were coming in to the season - a good Big Sky team that isn't quite ready to contend for championships yet. IMO, this is no February swoon, just a tougher schedule catching up with them over a couple weekends in a row. Sprinkle won't let them fold up the tent like some of Huse's and Fish's teams did.

For the women, another easy win but Binford cannot be pleased with how they finished the game. I feel like they get way too sloppy with the ball sometimes on offense - dumb turnovers and bad shots early in the shot clock won't hurt you when you're up by 20 or 30, but they'd better not play that way in tight games against better opponents or those mistakes will be exposed fast. Katelynn Limardo is this year's Darian White - hard to see how she didn't get snapped up by a bigger school!

Getting blown out again. We aren’t top 5 right now.
The league is down. It's not nearly as good as it has been. I'm going to do a podcast about exactly why soon.

Montana State just played the two best teams in the league. The preseason Big Sky MVP was not in Bozeman this weekend. And I thought Eastern looked as good as they have this entire season without him. They are really good. They were the outright Big Sky champions last season after all. They ran Montana State into the floor in the second half of both games.

Many don't like Shantay Legans' antics. That's the whole point. He galvanizes his team, pisses off everyone involved with his opponent and wins Big Sky games. After today, He's 50-17 in Big Sky play in 3.5 seasons. He has two championships and two appearances in the league championship game, likely with a third being taken away last March.

Randy Rahe decided to bite the bully and fully go down the transfer route. Montana is trying to reload. But the point is there are 3 programs in the league that have a chance to win the league...the three teams that have represented the league in 15 of the last 20 NCAA Tournaments.

I get that Montana has the pedigree but for them to pull it all together for a run- not sold it is happening this year. But with six games left there is plenty of time to catch fire.

Likely not. Wasn’t my point. Point is the same 3 teams have won the league for 25 years. And it all has to do with investment in basketball.
