Turned the heat on! Nice win ladies. Side bar- the two commentators have been great, and from my understanding have done all the games today?? Holy cow!
My niece played high school basketball with Krista. Krista played for the Lady Griz, and does do a very good job, and does not come across as a Griz homer.
I love that! I agree I’m confused by the homer talk, they had to cover every single team all day and were very complimentary of Coach Binford and how loud the MSU crowd was in Boise, and while their broadcasting was maybe a little bit more relaxed, I personally don’t need every part explained to me while I’m watching it, those are the announcers I usually get annoyed with
Yeah, I don't get the criticism of Redpath unless it's just an automatic reaction to her being a former UM player. She knows she has an audience of more than just UM fans, seems to be very knowledgeable about the league and has had very complimentary things to say about MSU many of the other teams.

Sac leading 17-11 so far in the traditional 9:30 AM tipoff time, Sac looks to be the better team so I expect them to win this one.

I think Sac is underrated, and Idaho is bad. Unless idaho gets hot from 3, I'd expect Sac to run away with it.

Also, love listening to Joe Cravens call the game.

Playing second chair for so long has left some deep wounds in some fans. I understand. I do appreciate commentary from someone that actually knows the game like Krista does.

Now to the game. When the women play with with great effort on defense, that effort follows on the offensive side. Last night they started the game without much defensive effort and settled for the first shot they had on offense.

Somewhere in the second quarter, the ratcheted up their defensive play and immediately started working hard on offense to get a good shot.

This team has more than enough talent to win the tournament. If they play with effort and confidence, they will win the next 2 and neither should be very close.

How did both Sac and Idaho have the same win total, 6. Sac isn't a stellar team by any stretch but they have some dudes and Idaho is just baddddd.

Idaho had a few really nice wins at home this year but they can be flat out awful as soon as they leave Moscow. Hard to believe they were one of the four teams to beat South Dakota State this year.

If I’m not mistaken SDSU left their loss at Idaho and went and beat Washington State in their building didn’t they?

Correct.

Sac wins 57-54, Idaho finally hit a few shots down the stretch to make it close.

Sac is tough. We’ll have our work cut out for us. X was still in a boot yesterday. Hope he can go.

I watched Darian live for the first time last night. This picture reminded me, her one handed floater is a thing of beauty.

11 seed NAU taking it to EWU right now. Could we have our first upset?

Heck no. Big Sky Refs love EWU. 21-15 on fouls and 19-12 on free throws.

LOL three put back attempts by NAU with EWU slapping all over them and as soon as an EWU player has the ball the refs find their whistles. Man, I really don't like EWU.

And EWU is gonna win another game on that stupid 0.3 second catch and shoot rule. God I hate that rule. I hope this season changes that. EWU isn’t a very well coached team, they just have some seriously athletic and talented guys that can compete with anyone.

I fully endorse all of this. It was silly back in Cheney how many calls they got.
