Colter, with the background and knowledge you have don’t rule out radio and tv. You’d be great!

You are already on espn radio and SWX as it is, C’mon you’d be great!

I was not very impressed with Travis DeCure’s whining in the post game interview. As for how to defend the free throw line - stop the hacking. It’s pretty simple.

Went through history of Bobcat athletics to confirm: following MSU's win over UM in men's hoops Saturday, the Bobcats beat the Griz in #BigSkyFB, #BigSkyWBB & #BigSkyMBB in the same year for the first time ever.

@Colter_Nuanez has more

@Colter_Nuanez is the below highlighted sentence an incomplete thought? Just curious.
On an evening in which Montana State unveiled its first Big Sky Conference championship football banner and it’s women’s basketball team completed yet another sweep of the rival Lady Griz, Sprinkle led his alma mater to another landmark accomplishment.
Since 2012**! I just fixed it, thank you so much for the edit!

Saturday was a first time experience for me calling the game and then trying to write about both games afterward. My brain was fried! Appreciate the help and thanks for the feedback from everyone.

I’m just a writer who somehow landed on a mic so I try the best I can, but as with everything, more reps make you better. Thanks for listening and watching and for the feedback!
All good Colter, I get it and figured you'd appreciate the assist, as I know you're a stickler for details. Good job with the color by the way. I watched the game late Saturday night on ESPN+, keep up the good work! You too @SACCAT, hopefully Chester is proud of their native son!

@Colter_Nuanez Colter, you were fine! Here’s why — there are plenty of glib color guys out there, but I think I can speak for this group that we’d rather have knowledge and substance than glib and smooth. Your delivery will get better with practice, but at least you have something to say! Carry on.

Re-Watched the game on ESPN+ and have a question. Why do we have different teams doing radio vs ESPN+. Not a comment on the talent involved just more curious as all other Big Sky Schools have the radio voice also on ESPN+. Are we first to separate them and we will see others follow or was there a Learfield vs ESPN+ rift?

Was at the game and didn’t watch replay but I think the answer here is that we had an actual TV broadcast of these games and they had their announcers for TV. I am guessing we used that feed to send to ESPN+.

Broadcast tv and espn+ have been completely separate announcers for basketball. For Cat/griz, there was tv, espn+, home radio and visiting radio all with different announcers.

Interesting, thanks!

ESPN+ uses their own feed, produced by students from the MSU School of Film and Photography. The video feeds are separate — that’s why one showed the end-of-game buzzer-beater shot, and the other showed Coach Bin and the result at the basket.

This... All ESPN+ games are the same Play-by-Play guy (women's games includes a Color Person). Doesn't matter if SWX or CW do the games as well, ESPN+ is still the same person every home game...
