Oh ****** off, Eric Curry.
Who was the poster that had “Eric Curry makes me sad” in his signature line?
I feel like it was @CatBlitz once upon a time…could be mistaken though?
*Ahem* - that would be me. It was @CatBlitz that Curry tossed from a Bobcat MBB game almost 20 years ago when we were both in student section. That was the genesis of my extreme dislike of Eric Curry, and it's only been reinforced in the years since.

Just finished watching the game (ESPN+ replay is a beautiful thing when you have young kids that expect dad time between supper and bedtime...).

Fun game until ISU realized they had to ugly it up to try to get the win. That last 10 minutes was slow as molasses. Aside from Mr Curry's phantom flagrant foul call in the first half on an inbounds play (I swear he invents a new way to screw the Cats every time he's in Bozeman), and completely blowing an out of bounds call in the second half, I really couldn't argue with many of the foul calls down the stretch. Except Geron's 4th. That was Academy Award level acting by the ISU guard... that said, if anything, there were probably more that could have been called.

The hack fest at the end sort of overshadowed a great defensive effort by the Cats to completely neutralize ISU's best offense players and force Kiree Huie to make free throws.

4-2 in confy with a frantically assembled roster? I'll take it. Logie can coach...!
HA! I was at that game maybe a few feet away from you guys because I had a front row seat to that ejection. Even after 20 years of "maturation" (my wife would argue that's a very loose term with me) I KNOW I would get the boot from Curry if I attended a Bobcat game live that he officiates. There is no way I could keep my mouth shut, that guy is just plain AWFUL!
What does a fan have to do to get ejected from a game? I don't think I've ever seen that.
My recollection was that @CatBlitz didn't even use profanity, he just very vocally let Mr. Curry know that he made a bad call. Mr. Curry doesn't like being told he's ever made a bad call. Seriously don't understand how he he seems to ref in every NCAA MBB tournament. He's an arrogant jerk.
I could be wrong, but I thought that he made contact with him or that Curry claimed he made contact with him. I don't think it was malicious or even that hard of contact, looked incidental to me. Like the other team was inbounding in front of the student section and Catblitz was pointing and Curry backed into his finger or something like that. That was the reasoning is that you cannot "touch" an official and that warrants an ejection. Again, it was 20 years ago and I might not be remembering right........
Lolol.
Didn't think I'd get summoned by the devil himself today but here we are.

Ok this is what happened. It's nothing too exciting:
Buddy of mine and I volunteered to help out with one of those timeout promotions. We walked down to the court to wait in our positions. I happened to be placed next to Mr. Curry. So I took the opportunity to tell him that the other team was holding too much under the basket and they were missing the calls.
He said "you can't come down here and talk to us like that" and went over to the scorers booth to whine about it and get me thrown out.
I assume he didn't realize that I was down there for the promo, and just jumped to the conclusion that I ran down to talk ****** to him.
Either way, Curry is a thin-skinned, "I'm the main character" blowhard that deserves the criticism he receives. He's a poop referee too.

Don't let this distract you from the fact that the griz blew a 22-0 lead.

It’s not so much “what” as “who.” All you need to do is be right — and let them know it. Eric Curry and Bob Scofield. Scofield tossed someone else on here, and I had a close call one night at a women’s game. When the back of his neck and ears start getting red, watch out. He has a famous set of “rabbit ears.”

I had the same happen to me with Scofield. I was down on the floor in the first row of chairs and made some kind of remark pointing out a missed call. He came over to me and said something like "one more word out of you and you're outta here".
Binford told me he ran her dad one night!

Which one is to blame for the Scoreboard not playing "Three Blind Mice" anymore?
