Joe Lunardi's Bracketology (updated today) has us as the 16 seed in the Midwest, and playing #1 Kansas in the first round.

Well, that's interesting. I figure we'll be a 14th or 15th seed. :D

Getting in the Big Dance is great. Drawing Kansas not so much!

Well, if we are playing the overall #1 seed, I guess that means we made it in via the play-in game.

On the positive side, winning the play-in game would mean an extra pay-out for the athletic department.

I think he had a play in game listed. Syracuse got the winner of the play-in game. It's nice to be seen on Bracketology again; that means there's a lot of promise to this season. Plus, I think Joe Lunardi likes us after our great playoff football discussions with him.

But if the Cats would win the play-in game, that would be the first tournament win in Bobcat history, and we wouldn't be a SportsCenter statistic for being the team that's won the most games without a tournament win. I just hope we can stay in this conversation.

Seeing that the Cats were picked 5th in both the preseason BSC coaches and media polls I think it's good that the Cats are even getting tournament consideration (but I do think the Cats will finish much higher than 5th and could conceivably win the conference tournament and the invite to the dance).

Thanks Guys, that's very generous of you.

I wish it would have worked out better for you on 11/21/09, but there's always next year. I should have you in my first FCS braketology out mid October 2010. :D
