School President Cruzado on TV at halftime

Post by TomCat88 » Mon Jan 11, 2010 9:11 pm

I caught most of the interview with Waded Cruzado-Salas at halftime of the EWU game. She came off very well in my opinion in that she seems to understand the role sports can play at MSU. She used some of the cliche lines..."front porch of the University..." but she seems to realize that there is a very strong desire among MSU alums to be involved in the sports programs and see them be very successful. She was refreshingly well-spoken, upbeat and charming, instead of the stereotypical stodgy school administrator.

MSU - 16 team National Champions (most recent 2024); 57 individual National Champions (most recent 2023).

Agreed (although I thought the same thing about Gamble)...I'm excited to see where President Cruzado will be able to take MSU and the state of Montana.

Whatever the case, I would take almost anyone over King George at dUMb. That guy is the ultimate "stodgy administrator"...

Monte eats corn the long way.

I didn't see the interview, but I watched her make her way back to her seat after the interview. It pretty much took the rest of halftime as she stopped, introduced herself, and chatted with everyone along the way including ushers, ball boys, and cheerleaders. As an introvert myself I couldn't do that in a million years-it was funny to watch.
