From MSU-

BOZEMAN, Mont. – Montana State added depth to its backcourt Wednesday when Minnesota prep standout Tor Anderson joined the Bobcat program.

MSU coach Brad Huse lauded the abilities of the 6-2, 185 guard from Savage, Minn. “We’re very fortunate to have Tor joining our program as he brings Division I attributes to the table immediately,” Huse said. “We have a good relationship with Tor and we think he could contribute very early in his career,” Huse said. “We are a bit thin on the perimeter from a depth standpoint and we’ll be relying on some young kids to fill in at the guard spots, and Tor could very well be a factor on the depth chart. Ultimately, Tor is a great kid and a very hungry player. He’ll be a great addition.”

Anderson averaged 13 points, six rebounds, six assists and two steals a game at Minnetonka as a senior. He earned First Team All-Conference honors in the Classic Lake league, and was Minnetonka’s Defensive Player of the year. He enters next fall as a freshman.

Nice...Here are a few tidbits from mslacat's blog about Tor. These entries were posted about a year ago.
For MSU men’s basketball followers keep an eye on 6-3 guard Tor Anderson for next year’s recruiting class. Tor had to play JV ball last year for Minnetonka high school after transferring to that school. He had a very good sophomore garnering quite a bit of attention, but kind of dropped off the chart after his junior year because nobody saw him play. He is getting out this summer and was recently offered by North Dakota State after a recent event in North Dakota. His first offer was from Montana State close to a year ago. He visited campus last December, and will/is attending the Bobcat Elite camp this week. Rivals have him ranked as a three star prospect.
Cole Stefan’s teammate Tor Anderson was also been offered by the Bobcats close to a year ago. Tor (a great Minnesota name) is a 6-3 185 lb shooting guard ranked who was ranked 12th prospect in Minnesota prior to this past season. Tor played for Prior Lake High school during his sophomore season averaging 15.3 points, 3 assist and 4 rebounds a game, but decided to transfer to Minnetonka high school to play with his best friend and AAU team-mate Cole Stefan for this past season. Anderson then ran into problems with the Minnesota transfer rules and was not allowed to play varsity ball for Minnetonka, this year, and was forced to play on the Minnetonka JV team. Needless to say he dominated at that level. In one game he hit 7 of 9, 3 point shots while scoring 32 points, and sitting out the much of the 3rd and all of the 4th quarter. Anderson is a deep three point threat, but also is also strong enough to post up smaller/skinnier guard down low. He is not he most athletic player but very crafty. Montana State has been recruiting him for close to a year now and are considered the favorite in landing his service at this early stage. Anderson and his family took an unofficial visit to MSU last December to check out the campus and take in a game. He is an early priority for the Cats 2010 class. (Sorry I could not find a picture that was worth a damn for Tor)

I think there have been one or two since Nate who were recruited by Jerry Olson and signed out of HS who never panned out. The one I can remember off the top of my head is Luke Anderson, but it seems there was at least one other...mslacat would probably have better insight.
