I see in the Gazette that Jackie Elliott of Billings Central has committed to MSU for basketball. She is a heck of an athlete. She plays in soccer, basketball and track. I would have figured she would have gone on a soccer scholarship somewhere but she has chosen basketball. Welcome to the Bobcat family.

Absolutely agree, her best sport without a doubt is soccer, but from what I understand her favorite is basketball. It's also much tougher to get recruited in soccer from Montana so I think that also contributes to this. I'm not saying she's not a good basketball player, but she's outstanding in soccer. Of course, I still think Kirsten Tilleman from Bozeman who went to Oregon State and is now transferring to UC Santa Barbara was in the same boat. She was an absolute monster in soccer that she was never going to be in basketball. It's quite a thing to have your choice, though!
